Q: Why can not control the gateway while far away from the Wi-Fi water timer? A: You must add the Gateway first into the apps, then add the valve controller under the Gateway portal. Q: Is there a distance limit between the timer and Wi-Fi hub? A: The timer itself has only Bluetooth. The hub bridges the timer with your Wi-Fi. The distance between the timer and the Wi-Fi hub can reach 49.2 feet in the open area (without interference).
