If You Have a Big Concave Groove on your Valve behind the threads, this adapter MAY NOT fit on your valve and you should not try to use on the threads, because they are for a dust cap.

Before ordering, check that your IBC valve has a coarse thread, not a fine thread. This adapter is compatible with the most common thread found on European IBCs, not the American National Standard Straight Pipe Thread.

How to know that your ton barrel is the coarse thread? The surface of the outer interface of the ton barrel valve is the coarse thread with a diameter of 60 mm (2.36 inches) and a thread pitch:6 mm (0.24 inches).

There may be a tolerance in the product size due to manual measurement.
